hGH Injections

Injectable hGH is injected into the blood and is only available with a prescription from your doctor. Human Growth Hormone can be taken by subcutaneous (into the fatty tissue under the skin) or intramuscular (injected into the muscle tissue) injection. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved injectable formulations are available as liquid preparations, or as powder with a diluent (a diluting agent) for reconstitution (the process of dissolving a dried product into a solvent or diluent so it can be injected).

Drugs enter different layers of skin via intramuscular, subcutaneous, or transdermal delivery methods.

Humatrope Box

Injectable Humatrope hGH
Humatrope, a "man-made" form of growth hormone (somatropin), is the same in its chemical structure as the growth hormone that is naturally produced by the pituitary gland. Humatrope is administered by injecting it into the fatty tissue under the skin.
