History of HGH

The History of HGH
Genentech filed a complaint claiming patent violation, however the suit was thrown out because the judge ruled that Genentech was withholding important documents that pertained to the case. At that point Novo Nordisk and Biotechnology General immediately began import procedures for their respective HGH products and Genentech countered with another lawsuit in federal court, the battle continues to this day.

Due to the lack of competition the cost of HGH injections is very expensive. Up until recently Genentech and Eli Lily have managed to maintain their monopoly on the distribution of human growth hormone in the United States. Depending on the dose a doctor decides his/her patient needs, the cost for HGH injection therapy ranges from about $800 per month up to $18,000 per year.

In 1995 Genentech announced $219 million in HGH sales and these sales were made through the treatment of children only! HGH is now being used by more and more adults for anti aging, and doctors are now beginning to use it as treatment for various health conditions. HGH is also being sold to many pharmaceutical companies to make homeopathic HGH products. With all these new uses of HGH the profit potential will be more than any other prescription drug in history.

In 1985, Dr. Daniel Rudman, a Madison, Wisconsin endocrinologist, published in the Journal of American Geriatrics Society a brand new theory about aging based on his many years of extensive clinical experiments and research. He indicated clearly in the article that human aging is a result of HGH deficiency, and is not the commonly accepted view of "inevitable natural phenomenon." He further concluded that by stimulating the pituitary gland with HGH, the gland could be made to recover its function to secrete HGH again. This discovery not only stops the aging process but also turns back the biological clock to its adolescent stage. He tested his theory with twenty six men between the ages of 61 and 80. He gave half of the men injections of HGH - Human Growth Hormone three times a week for 6 months. At the end of the study the differences between the two groups was startling.
